Kona Kase August 2013 Review & Coupon Code

I was really looking forward to Kona Kase, this month, I feel like I ate up all my goodies from the previous box in the first 2 weeks, and I have been craving something new to snack on! -Perfect timing!

The Box: Kona Kase

The Cost: $15 a month

COUPON: Use code FF2 to save $5 off your first box!

The Products: Fitness, Nutrition and Supplement samples.

Everything in this box except the almond butter was BRAND NEW to me. I had never even heard of some of these companies or products. So it was really cool to get them and be able to try them out!

Krave Jerky- Chili Lime

This was probably the best jerky ive ever had. It was all one large piece, super moist and flavorful.

BioTrust- Chocolate Chip Cookie

I recently started eating less gluten so to get a gluten free chocolate chip protein cookie in my box was awesome!! It wasnt the best cookie, but it was good, and I def ate it all!

Rise Bar- Almond Honey

This was a completely new brand/product to me... This tiny little bar was 130 calories! It couldnt have been more than 2" long! It did have 9 grams of protein though. It would be perfect to throw in ur bag on a busy day. It was kind of dry, and then melted a bit in ur mouth. -Was actually really good.

Justin's- Classic Almond Butter

This was the only item in the box Ive tried before, I actually LOVE Justin's brand Almond Butter. Its the only nut butter I use! -It is a bit pricey at $8+ a jar but Im obsessed, and im really happy to get a sample so I can take it with me one day on the go!

Quest Bar- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

This bar was literally like eating dry cookie dough. It actually made me sick and I had to toss the rest.

LaraBar- Blueberry Muffin

This bar was really rich, it didnt even taste like blueberries for some reason, I was not a fan of this either and ending up throwing it away as well.

Greenola- Raisin Coconut

This was the most interesting thing in my box this month. I really love kale & coconut so to see them mixed with raisins in this faux granola concoction was odd. But I ended up really loving it! It was crunchy & chewy & sweet .. and just really good. I wouldn't add this to yogurt like a oat or seed granola, but it was perfectly delicious on its own. I'm kinda bummed there was no website on the card.
